We also should compare the two modes of energy conservation with this project. The energy savings between running all motors together vs. individual control.

Final PLC Components

I received an email from Joe today, he recieved the final peices from the warehouse, and will be shipping them ASAP.

Plastic Components

I emailed Kimball the plastic parts list last week.  

When we get the motors in, I will finish the CAD drawings for the rest of the model.

I will be emailing Joe from ArcelorMittal sometime this week to notify him that we need the PSU for the PLC.

Also, AM would like to meet with all of us in a social setting (ie. KBC)  about our project.

We should also try to brainstorn about an informal meeting with them in the lab.

Proposal Meeting

Yesterday, 10/10/08 Joe and I met to go through more details within the project proposal. We talked about some grammar issues and the addition of a more detailed network diagram as well as a written description section for the network diagram. I have also given Joe the last sections of the proposal and he is now taking over the finishing of the proposal. We plan to have it done by 10/17/08 so we can go over it and also thought that we should have Aaron go over it with us. We plan to get it to Brian Davis by Monday 10/20/08 so he can go over it as well.
